1. What size are the bookmarks?
Ans. They are 3" x 9" when laminated. Prior to lamination, they are 2.55" by 8.5." NEW: 4" x 10.5" bookmarks are available at $4.50 each without photo and $6.00 with photo; check to see if your style is available yet.
2. Will my long obituaries fit?
Ans. I have fit obituaries as long as 13" on these bookmarks quite nicely. Newspapers usually use a width of 2" for their articles. I can use a width of 2.4" when necessary. They use a standard width between the lines that occasionally can be made a touch slimmer, a change which is hardly noticeable. Thirdly, they usually use a standard 9 pt. font which can be changed to 8 pt, if necessary, without making it too hard to read. Each of these changes can make the obituary much fit better. Believe me, I may need to make adjustments to make it fit, but I will never jeopardize the way it looks. This is my business and I take pride in the bookmarks we turn out.
If an obituary is still too long, then we can always utilize both sides of the bookmark or go to the larger size bookmarks now available here only. See ANSWER to No. 1.
3. If I have a long obituary, can I still add a picture?
Ans. Yes, you may either choose the larger bookmarks which should accommodate both nicely or if you would rather stay with the regular sized bookmarks, choose one of our bookmark styes without a graphic in the middle and a verse that is not too wordy. Then I can add a photo of your loved one, with their name, on the verse side, thus leaving the opposite side for the long obituary alone. I've done this before and they really do look lovely.
4. Do you accept credit cards?
Ans. Yes, you may pay by credit card, check, money order, or PayPal. We have a secure site for transmitting your credit card information through PayPal which allows you to use Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, and Discover. You will still need to submit your additional information by other means; fax, e-mail, or U.S. Post.

6. How do I pay you through PayPal?
Ans. You may either pay using our secure checkout which is set up through PayPal. To do that you do not necessarily need a PayPal account. If you have an account with PayPal, but do not wish to use our checkout, we can handle the process for you. Just send us your order requesting a PayPal invoice to be sent to the e-mail address you have registered with PayPal. We will then send you a request for payment through PayPal which will show up in your e-mail inbox almost immediately. Follow the directions in the message and you will have finished payment within minutes. We will send you an e-mail thanking you for payment as soon as we receive confirmation from PayPal.
7.How long will my order take?
Ans. This is harder to answer than the other questions. There are many variables that play a part in that answer. We try to finish the work within three to five days of receiving your order, then we e-mail you with a proof. Once we receive your confirmation, we print up your order and mail it out within about a week to 10 days. If it is mailed First Class, it can take as much as a week to arrive at its destination. So I usually say 3 to 4 weeks to cover all the bases from the time you send it. If you are in a hurry, we can expedite shipping by sending it Priority Mail, which is now just $3.00 added to your regular shipping and handling charge. If for some reason, you need it quicker, please contact us and we will see what we can do for you.
8.Is there any way that I can proof the bookmark before you laminate the order?
Ans. Yes, if you provide an e-mail, I will send you a proof. That way, you can look it over, show it to the rest of your family, and decide if you are happy with the way it has been laid out. If you wish a change, it can be made without any problem. If you are pleased, give me the okay and I will finish the order; but if you desire changes, no harm has been done. Please do not expect us to make more than a few consecutive changes to your proofs. We do send new proofs with each change and we cannot afford to spend all of our time on one order.
9. How do I place an order using a check or money order?
Ans. To place an order using a check or money order, you may print out one of our order forms provided on this site. Fill it out and send it to the address on the form along with your check or money order. Just add the obituary or announcement write-up along with the picture, if one is desired, that you wish added to the bookmarks or cards. If you wish to place orders for additional articles, please specify which article you want with which style and size bookmark or card; a notation of explanation is all that is needed. Pictures and articles are always returned unharmed. Please make checks or money orders payable to Cadee Inc.
